The Extinguished Flame: The Vacuum of Synthesis | Nov 2015
[OUTWARD STONE] STAGE V | STATION 5 (INTEGRATION)
RESEARCH NOTE: The Singularity of the Quintessence.
The removal of separateness essential for the transition to the Synthesis phase (Station 7). Within the architecture of the Anima Mundi, the multiplicity of individual lights must be relinquished to attain the singular density of the Stone. The recognised state of collective enlightenment serves as somatic validation; the individual parts of the soul have achieved the complete transparency needed to enter the Sacred Vacuum. Extinguishing the flames signifies the final relinquishing of ‘separateness’—the last points of individual perception that view reality as a collection of parts. This creates the essential structural ‘void’ to fully host the Absolute within the material world.
THE VISION: A circle of figures—the collective interface of the Loom—sit in a state of unified, high-frequency presence. In a rhythmic, ritualised sequence, each figure takes a turn to blow out a candle. As each flame is extinguished, the environment descends into a profound, structural darkness. With the vanishing of the light, all personal and collective perspectives are relinquished. When the last flame is extinguished, the ‘separateness’ of the soul is dissolved, leaving only the Sacred Vacuum—the state of absolute transparency required to manifest the Quintessential Point (5.7.01).
