INWARD STONE: STAGE II — ALBEDO (INVISIBLE STONE)

WAKING INQUIRY OVERVIEW

Internal, wordless psychological clarity first takes physical form in the grounding medium of hand-embroidered art. With external academic accreditation from the College of Psychic Studies in 2009, this physical mandala marks the early entry into the albedo phase.


CONTENT [Witness Level 01: practitioner (p)]

A round mandala, sewn onto champagne-coloured velvet, features a central ring of eight smooth, teardrop-shaped seed pearls. Fine silver and gold threads radiate outward, expanding the pattern into a balanced four-part square within a large stitched circle. Small metal beads and straight lines fill the outer borders, where eight larger, pale stones point inward to anchor the main sides.



ARCHIVE SYNTHESIS

An inner awakening is fixed into form as hand embroidery translates wordless internal space into geometric design. This pattern establishes the core logic for the entire trajectory, serving as the baseline for locating the original seed years later in the True Stone phase.

The early stitched details establish a recursive thread that reappears years later in the Blue Face [Fig. 3.0.03: The Crown Awakening] and the pearl recurs again in  [Vol. III | Fig. 6.0.10: The Pearl of Great Price ], marking the early, physical initialisation of the albedo motif. The act of making by hand becomes the practical doorway for stabilising internal clarity.

[Institutional Validation]

Submitted as the practitioner’s final assessment piece for The College of Psychic Studies Healing Course, this hand-embroidered mandala was created and assessed directly under tutor Julia Shepherd. The course—now known as the Integrated Healing Diploma Course, still led by Shepherd—remains active today. Receiving formal accreditation in 2009 provides the archive with its first external, third-party chronological anchor. Evaluated in a framework that integrates somatic breathwork, meditation, and the subtle mechanics of the chakra system, this milestone marks the intersection where deep transpersonal work is physically verified in the world.

The Albedo Threshold: The resolution of years of circular mental conflict through dedicated meditation and group training, allowing stillness and awareness to rise into an unconditioned arena of clarity and healing.
 Sublimatio. An elevation of past intellectual friction that condenses volatile psychological processes into a stable, quiet centre.
 The birth of the wounded intuitive healer: a deeply empathetic individual who transforms past traumas into sharp, instinctive wisdom, using it to sense and alleviate others’ suffering.

The dragon is conquered. The white, pristine animals of the albedo step peacefully into the forest clearing. This is the 2009 Foundational Pearl—the exact turning point where the raw friction is successfully tamed and stitched by hand into a balanced, quiet mandala of light.

PLATE 4 // The Pegged Sheets (Grounding Sky-Cone Bridge)
The massive sky-cone between personified Sun and Moon represents a grounding bridge from heaven to earth. The dew is the early albedo—the pristine, celestial clarity is detailed through the systematic washing, whitening, and physical stitching of spiritual light into a physical baseline.

Below, in an open field, a ram and bull, and rectangular sheets stretched and pegged to the earth, while a male and female wring out a wet cloth into a large circular basin. This pinning and wringing of the cloth mirrors stretching the velvet over an embroidery frame; it represents the everyday grounding labour of the work, returning to the purity of the body to compress abstract space into a single material nucleus.
