The Discovery: The expansion from the standard 7 alchemical operational processes to a 15-point functional map. By identifying specific mechanics such as Fixatio (stability), Cibatio (feeding), and Multiplicatio (increase), the research provides the technical keys to move from leaden urban friction to the ‘Standard Availability’ of the True Stone.

RESEARCH OVERVIEW: THE LABORATORY OF THE SOUL

In alchemical dreamwork, the psyche is viewed as a living laboratory. The following 15 processes are the ‘Operations of the Soul’—the technical mechanics of the Magnum Opus. Recognising these in your visions helps you move from being a passive observer of ‘displays’ to an active participant in your own transformation.

HOW TO USE THIS SYNTHESIS:

When a vision manifests, in addition to asking, ‘What does it mean?’ consider also asking, ‘What operation is being performed?’ Is the soul being ‘washed’ (Solutio) or ‘burned’ (Calcination)? Understanding the operational process allows for a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the transformative nature of the Work.

Note on Methodology: Beyond the 7-Operational Processes

Standard alchemical training often focuses on the foundational 7 alchemical operations. However, during the 22-year longitudinal study, several key visions (such as the Strapped Child or the Nourished Soul) remained technically ‘unlocked’ or only partially understood within that limited framework. It was only by expanding the research to include additional Operative Processes—specifically, identifying operations such as Fixatio, Cibatio, and Multiplicatio—that the somatic mechanics of these visions became clear.
