Squaring the Circle: The Temple of Maitreya | Sep 2016

RESEARCH NOTE: The Fixation of Form. This record describes the transition from the internalised ‘strapping’ of the essence in Station 3 to its externalised architectural completion. The ‘Squaring of the Circle’ signifies the moment when the infinite, circular frequency of Unconditional Compassion is contained within a four-post physical reality. This represents a functional anchoring of The Real into a stable, terrestrial framework. The presence of the singular apex confirms the unification of the material and celestial planes, serving as the essential architectural precursor to the final somatic landing. 

THE VISION: A central tree is observed growing through the floor of a four-post wooden pergola. The branches extend outward to form a circular canopy, while the four-sided roof meets at a singular, central apex. A figure identified as Maitreya—the Buddha of the future—is positioned at the summit, integrated into the foliage.
