01. RESEARCH NOTE [Witness Level 06: THE WORK ITSELF]— The previous Maitreya Pergola was the Squaring of the Circle (the square roof containing the circular tree canopy); this Sheep Vision is the Circling of the Square (the circular flock of sheep surrounding the square reality of the earth plane). Together, they form a perfect, symmetrical diptych. The infinite cosmic engine has successfully transitioned into a state of absolute, unforced pastoral peace.
Grounding The Real into the earth’s density marks the definitive somatic landing through the alchemical operations of fixatio and exaltatio. This further squaring of the circle permanently binds the spirit to the material plane and ennobles the infant Stone to its highest dignity. The infant’s appearance provides the archetypal signature of perfect embodiment, serving as a practical interface for the Universal Child. The human mechanism stops trying to protect a private inner peace because the physical body has naturally synced with the surrounding environment.
02. THE VISION — An infant—the Universal Child—is seen resting in a circular hollow dug into the fertile earth. A peaceful flock of sheep stands in a circle around the central void, serving as a functional guard.
03. THE PARTICULAR SIGNIFICANCE — The naming of the infant as ‘baby Jesus’ exalts the earlier Sun-Moon Child [Vol. II | Fig. 5.3.01], both naked innocence at rest. The previous station anchored the wisdom of the elder Maitreya through an architectural frame, while this station introduces the purity of the newborn child. Together, these consecutive visions synthesise deep archetypal wisdom with complete openness.
Geometrically, the dense ring of sheep functions as a living, biological Torus—a self-circulating field of earthly mass and protective warmth. By positioning the Universal Child precisely within the hollow centre, the vision locates the infant Stone at the absolute, non-dual zero-point vortex of creation. This earthing of the Work fixes the infinite pulse of The Real as a permanent, living presence within the material landscape, thereby executing the ultimate act of fixatio, in which the volatile spirit is tamed by the earth, remaining present even in the most mundane settings.
