[CHAKRA SERIES] Throat: Reaching Your Full Human Potential [Stage 2: Albedo]

There comes a moment when you recognise your strengths and gifts and understand your life’s purpose. Living true to yourself—uncompromised by the opinions, advice, or criticism of others—opens the throat chakra. This centre, associated with the colour blue, governs self-expression and communication. When fully matured, it allows you to reach your human potential by taking full responsibility for your experiences, rather than blaming others.

By accepting responsibility for yourself, you naturally attract the right support. The throat chakra is linked to the fifth element, ether—the boundless space where all possibilities exist and from which the elements of earth, water, fire, and air both emerge and return.

At the solar plexus chakra stage, we develop rational thinking and often become identified with our thoughts. Moving into the heart chakra stage, we experience compassion and love and begin to observe when our thoughts become disharmonious. At the throat chakra, we achieve an even greater level of detachment, witnessing both thoughts and feelings as separate from our true selves. This awareness enables us to experience the ‘power of now’ and access genuine creativity that arises from non-attachment to specific outcomes.

At this stage of development, an individual is free from taking things personally or being swayed by others’ opinions. Here, we find our authentic voice and take responsibility for expressing and following our true calling.

At the level of the throat chakra, the etheric template connects us to our soul’s higher will. This subtle body exists on a different dimension, providing the original blueprint for our human form. It appears oval-shaped, extending up to 2.5 feet around the body, and is perceived as cobalt blue by those with clairvoyant vision. From this cosmic space, translucent beams of light form a dense matrix, leaving an empty ‘human mould’ at the centre. The etheric body forms within this mould (at the root chakra level), and from the etheric body, the physical body manifests.

At this level, sound gives rise to matter. We are spiritual beings having human experiences, perfectly designed to fulfil our unique journeys. Focusing solely on physical healing limits our sense of wholeness and well-being.
