The Metabolic Integration of the Guard. This marks a shift from merely being aware of a high-frequency presence to truly embodying the Rubedo stage. This transition is anchored in the operation of Coagulatio—the assimilation of a new, pure quality into the physical body. In alchemical dream-work, this is often represented by eating; whatever needs to be incorporated into the psyche is literally taken in and transformed into living tissue. The shared meal illustrates this Metabolic Integration: the information and frequency of the ‘Winged Visitation’ are ‘digested’ and absorbed into the somatic life-force, grounding the celestial in the blood.

THE VISION: Two human-sized parrots stand at the threshold as guardians. They are invited into the house, where we share a meal. The immense scale of the birds humbles the ego, while the black feathers and red patches signal the emerging force of the Rubedo. Through the symbolic act of eating together, the ‘otherness’ of these guardians is overcome. They are no longer merely visitors at the door; through the process of Coagulatio, their power is ingested, becoming a stabilised and permanent part of the internal landscape.
